Position Overview
The Senior Claims Manager will lead the company’s claims operations across all insurance classes — including motor, medical, property, travel, and general lines. The role demands a mix of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and digital transformation capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and continuously improve end-to-end claims operations across all product lines.
- Drive the adoption of AI, analytics, and automation tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Establish and maintain robust claims policies, standards, and performance KPIs aligned with regulatory requirements and company objectives.
- Partner with insurers to streamline claims processes, data exchange, and dispute resolution.
- Embed an AI-first culture within the claims function, using data‑driven decision‑making, predictive analytics, and automation to reduce manual work.
- Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Data teams to design smarter claims workflows and customer communication journeys.
- Monitor emerging digital trends and recommend innovations that enhance claims efficiency and transparency.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of claims professionals across multiple lines.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, digital literacy, and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Business, or related field; professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CII, ACII) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in multi‑line claims management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven exposure to digital transformation and AI integration in claims or insurance operations.
- Strong understanding of UAE insurance regulations, market practices and insurer relationships.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in claims management systems, analytics and automation tools.
- Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for innovation and efficiency.
